For me the clima menu became active and actually usable (yours doesn't seem to be working correctly) after I updated my clima unit to a later firmware version:

I installed 2010, this also enabled air care menu. And also I could change the temps on the mib screen instead of them being grayed out.

Regarding the steering wheel heater button on the wheel, please check the following coding:

Module 19 (Gateway) - Adaptation - Multifunction steering wheel control module - Heated_steeting_wheel_button - active

Okay i'm left with buying odins pack or goin to dealer then . Idk why (probably bc my firmware is not updated) but i search for it in a lot of place but didn't find anything related to the heated steering wheel buton unfortunatly ...
You can find odis on the internet. Also the firmware gou can find. You only have to buy a compatible pass through

Yes, you will need ODIS to remove CP and a corrected dataset (ODIS will not do SVM/coding because it is not an original part on your car). So make sure you make a bakup of current coding. Also FPA dataset will be different if you have a FR, to make the ambient light work you have to modify a facelift dataset or get your hands on a FR dataset which has a 3Q0 gateway.

I just have a leon (not fr) but it look like a pain for 1 button .. does parts already unlock do or the coding part needed anyway (i will have odis soon) ?

By only replacing the gateway, you will get a component protection warning and a flashing instrument cluster. Removing CP is therefore required. You will also need the correct dataset, because certain settings for the alternator are stored in it—unless you take the gateway from a car with the same engine code. The FPA part of the dataset doesn’t matter, since the car doesn’t have driving modes (non‑FR).

Coding is also necessary. In short, all other control modules communicate with each other through the gateway, and the gateway manages which modules are installed in the vehicle. So yes, you cannot skip the coding step.

Also, don't forget to do fec restore. Otherwise some functions which are enable through SWAP will not work. You can do this with ODIS.

That airbag is from Terramar which have totally different clock spring, so this loom might require more modifications than we think.

At first could you confirm that's the current state of this wiring loom? Colors might be different but please confirm whether pin numbers are correct. You should start by opening the yellow connector as you will need to change it anyway.

The pins are mixed up like pin 1+2 are airbag pin 7 is horn signal and so on...

Would it be possible to just buy another clockspring? or can you point me to the right airbag part number?
