Mines is the same bud, what people don't realize is how much Black magic paint shows up every swirl
Would you be interested in parting with them if your no longer require them??? Give you some more funds for motor???
Hey mate, not sure about selling them tbh! i think i am going to keep them in case i end up selling the weitecs seperately if i sell the car! plus i dont think that they are really worth anything.

Ye I was hoping to take some more at Vag feat in Margam but I am not able to make it! Then nxt sunny day n I will take some.
I am well happy with the van too, think of doin a golf tdi conversion or Maybe a pd130 lump with some subtle tweaks!

how long did it take you? i would love to put the pd130 lump into the t4 but i think it would be way too much head work!

The older transversely mounted engines are the best ones to get for lifespan. PD engines IMHO are a load of rubbish especially when you can get 200bhp out of a 1Z/AHU/AFN lump. They are not very refined in comparison but they are plentiful if it all goes belly up, and a piece of cake to look after. I can do a cambelt change on mine in 90 minutes including the timing adjustment using vagcom. It took me a leisurly 2 weeks to do mine including the stripping and installation of the golf loom to the van, she runs sweet as a nut, will do 40+mpg on a run and hit just over 100mph on a private roat at full chat. Get yourself on the VWT4 forum and look up my username on there (minus the dash), i have done plenty of stuff for the cause and numbers of conversions are increasing by the week!

How much work is it to get about 150-180 bhp with the tdi lump?
I think I am going to start looking for a donar vehicle, what would you recommend ? U think it's worth rebuilding engine etc or just wack one in?

hi mate car looks mint! although I couldnt live with that much lowness myself I dont think, can you tackle speed bumps at all!? 
Out of interest, who did your remapping and hybrid etc? (I'm similar area so looking for someone good and recomended local as possible)

cheers for the comments, i think the bottom of would get a hammering over the bumps, i am planning on raising her up a little for the winter months and refurbing my old tt wheels and sticking them on!
i am lucky that i have been driving the t4 van around so havent really had to try and conquer many speed bumps! Air ride would be the answer!!
As for tuning, i went to Leeds to do mine, but there is someone in Port talbot that uses p torque and i a tidy chap.
there is llandow racing circuit tuning place too now, he seems to know his stuff too! Got boost i think its called!
