I got some new wheels! Finally! :funk:

In the end they were out of stock of the Rota Subzeros that I'd fallen in love with, and they were also out of stock of TSW Catalunyas which I also really liked, with no confirmed date for either of them (I'd already waited 2 months for the TSWs, and 3 weeks for the Rotas)... so I ended up going for my third choice - Konig E-Racers.

What do you guys reckon?

I love this early evening light... it makes my car look so much cleaner than it is!

Guess who was worried about kerbing their new alloys?

Although they're not exactly what I was after, I'm still happy with the end result. I reckon they'll grow on me too :D

nice shape, not sure about the finish + they need to be bigger!! ;)

Hehe - the finish looks better in reality than it does in the pictures, although the whole dark spokes thing does tend to divide opinion a bit (I personally really like them).

As for the size, don't think it didn't cross my mind!

I ended up going for 18s because I thought they're be a good trade off between looking a decent size, and still remaining useable. I don't want to have to avoid every tiny pothole, or feel every vibration through my spine, even though I agree they'd look awesome in 19s (or even 20s). I also don't fancy having to sell a kidney just to get a new tyre ;)

I'm contemplating lowering as something to put on my to-do list, although I'm worried about completely destroying the ride. Also funds are pretty tight right now!

In fairness although I think it would look better a little lower, I'm actually pretty happy with how it sits as is...

Also not really keen on the MY03 bumpers, although I've been tempted to put the LCR kit on there, but again, it's a fairly pricey operation!

I like the shape of the spokes, nice and square without been too Audi/German.

I like black/dark and even though they do look smaller, I feel 19/20" is getting rather large for a Leon.

Overall, 7/10. Would have been 8 but not sure about chrome surrounds. :) Still better than my standard 04 Cupra's though!

yep, i think its the thickness of the surrounds that make them look smaller!

Yeah - Polished rims are generally recognised as creating the illusion of a smaller wheel (I was warned about that before I got them)... they still look one hell of a lot bigger than the old 16s that were on there!

They also actually look a bit bigger when you see them for real than they do in the pics - particularly in that first pic which seems to make the wheel look really small!

Still looks good though, i really do like the wheels and the colour of the car.

Cheers Jonjay - like I said they're not my #1 choice, but I'm still dead chuffed! :D
