I have a few stupid questions...

Please forgive my thickness, but I have a few questions.

1 - My car wasnt boosting, so I un-plugged the MAF and its been running like a dream ever since. Does this simply mean I need to replace the MAF, or might there be other things causing it?

2 - How bad is it to drive the car with the MAF un-plugged, because when I plug it in its like driving a 1.4i.

Just get the maf replaced if it runs fine without it.

Wouldnt advise driving it far unplugged though!

yeah get a new MAF...driving with it unplugged means you car will be overfuelling which isnt good!!

No worries, will get one sorted ASAP. Is it best to get them from main dealers? Any ideas on prices?

Well I just bought from from webcon for £50 including postage, but im testing it out tonight. Places like German Swedish French and Euro Car Parts do them for about £55 / £60 and you have to exchange your old one (i think) but the dealer will probably charge £80 / £90 I'm guessing
