I have to report some sad news.......

.........that today on the way to pick up my wee dude from school a nice shiney red LCR drove past me and parked outside the school.

So ? I hear you ask.

Well the said sports car had "Plym Cabs" stencilled right down both its sides and a private hire plate attached to its front and rear bumpers. Yes my friends it was 100% "A Taxi" !!!!

A sad day for all I am sure .

(and a taxi driver who obviously knows where to get very cheap fuel !!!)

Excellent point. A TDi FR+ will look just like an LCR but will be a much more sensible idea as a Taxi!

I was wondering whether he had a another vehicle which was his main cab - and had it off the road for some reason, so was using the LCR as a temp measure.............maybe ??? I guess the writing on the side could be removeable transfers.

There was a Nissan Skyline parked up the road from us a few months back with taxi signs all over it! I thought that was somewhat odd too! Only ever saw it 2 or 3 times though.
