yeh, understood mate, I don't intend on dropping the price much more if I can generate interest - but currently the only interest I'm getting from here, PH, few other forums, is buying BITS of the car - and I want to sell it in 1 piece!

I'd not want a mk4 part ex though, only a nice mk3 really to make it worthwhile
yeh, unfortunately both golfs were mk4's, and tbh not particularly high-spec models.
I'd have thought getting rid of a golf like that would be much harder - there's 1000's more golfs on the market in comparison to Leons. Although that could also work the other way I suppose - lots of golfs because everyone wants one!?!?
DPJ - don't be silly - giving birth is 9months, perhaps 9.5months tops. Me sorting myself out to sell my car is much longer! lol
I'll hush now anyway - nobody has said that I'm overpriced so I'll just leave it as is and see what happens I suppose.

If it's any help when I sold my platinum LC last summer it sold via Autotrader in the end.
I only got one serious inquiry TBH and I let it go for a couple of £100 less than I really wanted, but I needed the funds as I'd already bought the LCR.
As you seem to be asking a sensible price its worth a go I reckon...

thanks for the comments mate - I'll definately be doing autotrader soon, but I'm not sure I can be bothered with the 100's of calls I'll get from companies who can "guarantee to get my asking price" or "have 5 people with cash waiting to buy the car"....... and all that b*llox.
