NOT!!!

I seemed to have developed a nasty one above my accelerator pedal!

Checked under the scuttle panel and everything looks solid and free of leaves, dirt etc.

One think I did notice is that the seal around the loom housing felt a bit wet. Is this a common place for a leak?

Oddly enough I can only feel damp once the car has been on a run.

Anyone else got any leaks they'd like to declare lol!?

I wondered about this but the carpet around the door is dry. The leak (wettest part of the carpet) seems to be coming from top right of the dash - above the relays behind the steering column trim...Surely this wouldnt be the case if the door was leaking?

YES! me too. couldnt find where it was coming from for weeks so i went to a car wash today (my carpets couldnt get any wetter!) and quickly got in the back and stared at my doors... caught me by suprise it was pouring in when the washer was cleaning the front end and no where else, so not scutter panel and not door sills! So the water is coming in when it's wet from the spray from the car infront! But what hole could have formed that leads to the small golf ball size hole above the pedals???!!

also, check the carpet behind drivers seat, that's soaked too as the water runs along the side of the car under the carpet... grr. I've stuffed a demisting pad in the hole, had it there for a week or so, it is actually stopping 90% of the water coming in but once summer comes it HAS to be sorted!

So it was pouring in from the bulk head somewhere?

Everywhere else is dry - The water was dripping from the carpet above the ignition relay last week causing the car to break down :(

Most likely at work
all four of my doors had leaky seals. had to attack the seals more than once with silcon sealant which worked for a while. now iv bought some heavy duty sealant and i hope to reseal my doors again when i can be arsed... apart from that i suspected a leak from my pollen filter, which turned out to be ok for once.

i think the door seals was an easy fix at least you could tell that it was sealed up properly i just hate the leak above the pedals as cant find where its coming from or even if its still there since being sealed up. had a quote from seat for £300 plus VAT for the pedal leak fix!

lol does that mean they know where its coming from?

have you checked/opened the wiring loom box next to the bonnet release cable under the scuttle panel?

they said its a common problem, from bulkhead seal. i sealed around that wiring loom box and bonnet release cable in my attempts to solve but still dont know if successful yet or not
