I'm afraid same here. I LOVE this car, it's superb to drive, very very quick and fantastic looking, but having these wet carpets and OTT prices to fix the smallest things/get parts is starting to annoy me more than a little now! I have an MOT tomorrow and it really shouldn't fail but if it coughs up another problem. . . it just may have to go
Don't forget that putting wet shoes on the carpets makes them damp and will cause mist on the inside of the screen. If my mats get soaked then I take them out of the car and dry them on the radiator over night, no mist in the mornings either.
they said the dashboard has to come out and scuttle panel off etc. Ive already had most of it off myself when trying to sort the leak.
On the plus side, today ive poured 3 buckets of water over the drivers side window and had paper down on the floor to spot any water ingress...and there has been none. so thats looking pretty good. I had used lots of sealant around the bonnet release grommet and electrical wiring box under scuttle panel, if thats all it took it was an easy fix, not sure if its still coming in from somewhere else when on the move or anything, just know that when parked up and lots of water poured over it, nothings getting in now
I got exactly the same problem. Is there anywhere else, I can say its def not from my doors
,!!!! I'm stuck now. I only used silicone but bought butyl sealant stuff now so this is my only hope. Does anyone have a picture where this bulkhead seal is. Please can someone help me ?
hi beefy, if you're standing in front of the engine bay looking at it, its on the right hand side of the scuttle panel - where the pollen filter is. water can leak in from there - in my case it did (amongst everything ese :\ ) sorry dont have a pic though
