Ibiza 1.4 s - overheating !! Help !!

Had the cam belt / tensioner changed dec05, and recently had waterpump / thermostat changed, and broke down 2 weeks ago.

They think it is the HEAD GASKET. Only done 66 k miles [ V plate ]
one owner from new and no other mechanical problems before.

questions :

1 could the cause stem from the cam belt change ? as its been reliable
since new ? the garage did not use a genuine vw part !

2 how much should a non seat garage charge for a head gasket job ?

3 anyone know of any good garages in Ipswich [ suffolk ]

More common than you`d think to have a new waterpump and then have the headgasket blow. Maybe something to do with more waterflow round the
motor.

Head gasket is not too difficult on those 1.4s, make sure they skim the head before putting it back on.
