ibiza 2.0 16v Driveshaft N/S

Hi all i need a new/used N/S driveshaft for my ibiza mk2, theirs 1 on ebay for a mk2 1.9 tdi for £40.00 does anyone no if this will be the same as my mk2 2.0 16v gti 1997???

nearside is the shorter one isnt it? i've got the longer one of an ABF unfortunately

i think the diesel one might work, you got any pictures of it? cos the ABF one i have at home is fairly thick. The splines should be the same though as you've made it sound like it's off another ibiza. And the hubs are all the same.

got my car up on the ramp at work and noticed the cv boot has split even tho no noise was coming from it atall orded a new boot then the next day driving into work when i went to change it, it started making a loud grinding noise and all the bearings have packed up. lol

hmmmm

i wouldnt say driveshaft mate, i'd say new wheel bearing and CV boot, and lube the whole lot up

its the bearings on the driveshaft that have gone the ones inside the cv boot.?
