Hi Guys

I'm thinking about removing the black strips that run down the side of the doors, do any of you know how they are fitted to the car, or is it just easier to have them sprayed,

I've decided i'm going for a smooth look, really low on 17in wheels and a few body mods.

I think if you remove them they have holes to help locate them - so they are level.

Probably best to spray them unless you know a good welder/bodwork guy.

Can someone confirm for me?

when you take the strips off there is a channel that runs along the length of them about 3 or 4 mm deep iirc plus holes for the wee clips to go into. Would need to be filled then painted. thought about this myself and decided it was too much hassel at the time

Thanks guys, thats just the info i needed, i'm not going to bother with removing them now, i'll just get them color coded.
