I have a 2016 Ibiza FR which has wing mirrors which you can fold up/down using the dial next to the door handle and recently I've been having problems with the passenger side mirror.
A couple of days ago after parking in the city I tried to fold them up and the driver side folded up fine whilst the passenger side folded half-way up and then got stuck.
I noticed at the time and went over and gave it a wiggle. There was noticeable play in the mirror but I didn't want to force it. After a minute, it folded itself up (whilst I wasn't touching it).
I went off and after coming back I tried to fold the mirrors down but the driver side folded all the way down but the passenger side only folded half way then stuck. I tried wiggling it and flicking the switch back and forth but it wasn't for budging so I left it in it's position not wanting to physically force it down.
After getting home my dad had a look at it and forced it down. He also took the back off and cleaned the connector inside but that has not resolved the issue.
It's still has some play which the driver side does not and is not very responsive. Below are videos demonstrating both of these.

The mirror glass itself can still be adjusted consistently using the dial and I tried folding it earlier today and it folded up and back down successfully (with some noticeable stuttering). However, afterwards it was unresponsive again.
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue or has any suggestions on troubleshooting / resolving the issue.
