Ibiza CupraSport 2.0 16v spoiler fitment

I have just bought the spoiler mentioned (from ebay ) and i was just wondering whether it will fit onto a pre-facelift 1.4 ibiza. I know im going to have to cut the bolts off because my rear window hasent got the holes for them, but will i be than just able to "glue/stick" it on?? Cheers

If you're not gonna bolt it on you'll have to glue it on

edit:btw they are both glued and bolted as standard

Can you recomend some good glue for the job. I have some good 2part epoxy glue that you mix togeter, should that be OK. Or maybe you know whether some good double sided tape would work as well??Cheers

You're gona need some sorta evil smelling glue to bond that spoiler on, not sticky tape.

decent 2 part will be fine, silicon sealant round the edges too - if you don't want rust getting in there.

the original is bonded ,with a sealant rather than a hard glue.

bodyline stikaflex will hold anything like that on

be warned thought to be careful with it (sticks like sh** to a blanket)

used it on vertical door mouldings - masking taped em up overnight to hold em in position and still on now even after my sister tried to scrape it off with a lampost
