Hey Guys, went around there earlier today after work to check it out as its just been delivered, all looks okay, bumpers may *MAY* be salvageable with a bit of heat glue and filler, the bumper re-enforcer bar which runs along the front has hit the radiator, which has slightly bent it however it doesnt seem to be leaking, ran the car for 10 minutes idling before i cut it before it ran out of petrol so hopefully all is okay with it and it wont need replacing!
Was going to buy a vagcom off the bay for cheapish and run it for fault codes, clear them and then see if any reappear, is it okay getting one from the bay as their quite cheap and all i need is for it to clear the errors and check whats wrong when they come back?
Also, maybe a silly question but, im assuming the vagcom would pick up the radiator if it was leaking? along with the power steering if its not working?
Tried to remove the cap for the power steering pump, wouldnt budge so i think maybe when the car was hit the re-enforcer bar bent in but has hit the power steering pump and either bent the connections on it or squeezed the bottle on it making it highly pressurized meaning the lid wont unscrew.
Spending all day on it tomorrow so will start on it and let everyone know what happens, may start it as a project, had some things i wanted to experiment with it, especially vinyl wrapping, will photoshop some stuff together and see if everyone here agrees
