not yet - ill be honest though i havent seen him this sort of got in the way

trophy dinner and dance next week so i'll stick an oar in whilst he's pi$$Ed - usually agrees to anything and if not i can convince him he did later anyway

got any panels or moulds at all ?

got a pair of fronts and a pair of rears, in fibreglass, that was wanting to get moulds made off and then a set of positives in kevlar

nice piston - how'd that happen ?

Just picked up this from an old post here by Max_Torque

Head lamps on this car are the UK works EVO2 spec, pretty sure they went to these for a number of reasons:

1) lighter
2) cheaper to replace (std 5" round reflector unit about £4.80 last time i looked)
3) give slightly more space to fit wider shorter radiator, that allows a better optimised larger volume air box and longer intake trumpets (required in UK to get torque down rev range for gravel events, unlike predominatly tarmac rallying on continent)
4) light output is irrelevent for the cars std lights, 'cause the light pod has 4 or 6 180 watt bulbs in, which are used for night stages.

So, acquire 2 x 5” lamps, some fibreglass, and start moulding!

so the head lamps... im interested now... are they just like a normal headlight but with a 5'' or whatever it was spot lamp built into the surround?

cant quite tell from the pictures exactly what they look like

and to keep it road legal would have to be H4 really with sidelamps
