Thought I'd add my 2p here. The ride is much better in the new FR on 17's than it was in my old FR on 17's. But I've got no other car to compare it to!

I tested both a 1.2 on 16s and a 1.4 on 17s and the 17s were definitely harsher (and noisier) particularly in the back. \it is exactly what you would expect buth the trouble is if your dealer has set the pressures wrong it's easy to be mislead.

Yep - don't think this is standard though in the UK - it is on the Leon FR but not the Ibiza (standard on Cupra). Think it's a £160 option otherwise.

Another question for you guys who have your Ibizas - how is the gear change - is it smooth and precise with a relatively quick action or is it a bit mushy and slow?

and yes I know you have the DSG FR2013 so I know your response !

This may sound strange but the feeling when I change gear is nice and smooth kinda the same feeling as a dsg if you get what I'm saying

My previous FR was a lovely smooth gearbox, however this was the slightly older 5 speed box paired to the older 1.2 TSI.

Now I've forgotten what a clutch is, can someone explain? haha

I found the 1.2 Gearbox slicker (on both the Ibiza and Fabia) than the 1.4 too.

Stuck my number plate LED's in over the weekend. This morning on my (dark) drive to work, I noticed that I have a bulb warning 'check number plate bulb' on the dash!

These worked perfectly in my 2013 Ibiza FR so something has definitely changed with the CANBUS system. Anyone upgraded theirs to LED and have no errors? I'm now after some new bulbs as I still 100% want LED as it looks brill!
