Alright people,
I recently acquired a cheap MK4/6L Ibiza FR 1.8t with a BJX lump in it. It’s showing signs of head gasket failure and doesn’t seem financially feasible to rebuild it.
BJX lumps aren’t too common as far as I can see on selling sites, is it possible to do a straightforward swap with an AUM or AUQ lump instead? Will I face any issues with the difference in platforms?
I only know they all share the same K03s setup, I’m wanting to keep it as simple as possible!
