Basically remap the car, and its as fast as ur MG (give or take) loads more torque and better mpg

Ive test driven one today at work and I must say im pretty impressed.
Its not as fast as my ZS for outright pace, but the way it pulls from pretty much any speed in any gear was impressive. Im sure a chip and a couple of other mods will get it upto an acceptable speed.
Wasnt too sure on the centre console (radio and climate unit) as they appear to be pretty drab, but im sure a nice CD player will sort that out.

Have any of you put diesel dump valves on ur cars??

Dumpvalves are pointless on diesels i thought as they dont have throttle plates or something like that

Once remmaped the woooosh effect is much louder.

Yeah you can get them, they work slightly different to petrol cars though. Dont get me wrong, I dont want one, I think they're a bit chavvy.

I had the light on on the test drive, and they glow up and orangy colour.
In my mates golf GT TDI which had a similar console, it all glowed up blue, which looked better IMO.
Suppose i should be watching the roads anyway,lol.

The Beeza interior is a bit drab and grey (plastics in new one are improved though) compared to the new clio etc, but compared to the old clios, 206's and so on its better, but its got a good base sound system for its class, and i like the red lights at night. Blue looks good too though on the VW's, probably as the blue is a bit sharper.

Funnily enough I was looking at FR TDIs today for the same reason. Insurance and fuel.

I know that they've just face lifted the Ibiza but does this mean that the shape is coming towards the end of its life? i.e. Is it a run out model like when the Leon R bodykits started being fitted to FRs? Does anyone know when a totally new Ibiza is likely to be released?

I really like the new facelifted Ibizas and particularly the FR, so I'd be gutted if I shelled out for one and then found a new model was released shortly after.

I heard 2007 for the New Ibiza but i could of heard wrong!. Although i didnt think much of the "spy shots".

Have been driving Cupra diesel ibiza for 2 years and still smilling. BUT not sure what the FR is like but the suspension is very stiff Can be a bit of a pain after a while but at least it sticks to the road. Beware of worn tyres as pricey and don't seem to last long ha ha ha

I did read once a review on the original 150 BHP engines in the Golf Mk 4 (I think) that they had a large turbo which suffers a lot with turbo lag. It was best to buy a 130 and remap it to similar power.

How are these modern engines, 150, 160 or 170 BHP compared to the 130 either standard or remapped? Do they suffer from turbo lag? My PD 130 in the Furby vRS doesn't, or its not noticeable.
