ibiza fr boot space

Afternoon,

I have just bought a fr tdi and have to pick the folks up from the airport on tuesday and was wondering will the smaller fr boot space be able to fit 2 suitcases in it?

It should do, Is the FR boot really any smaller than the 5dr? As mine will happily swallow suitcases and some other bits and bobs

all depends on the size of the suitcases really. If it's two small suitcases then you'll probably be ok. If they're average/large size then I reckon you're looking at 1 in the boot and 1 on the back seat (that's what I have to do). The reduced depth does make quite a difference.

I get 2 medium suitcases in mine regularly when I travel + a laptop bag.

Quick tip - Leave the shelf at home - the depth of the boot with the battery in it is quite shallow.

You should be fine.i carry holdalls and a laptop bag back to work every week without major issues

Yeah the boots are pretty small on them. Just leave the shelf at home and you should be fine.
