Evening folks,

i'm away to order a full set of powerflex bushes for my car and i'm in a bit of a predicament!

powerflex have 3 diameters of front ARB bushes to choose from, 16mm, 17.5mm or 19mm diameters, now after a quick think i would take a guess that 16mm is for normal ibizas, 17.5mm is for the FR and the 19mm would be for the cupra, but that's just a theory, does anyone know what the proper one is for the FR? (it's the 1.8T but i doubt that makes a difference?) or would it be best to break out the digital calipers and crawl under the car for a quick measure just to make sure?

Any help appreciated guys!

Scotty

From what I've been told trying to do the same thing, calipers are the only way. Apparently there's no hard and fast rule which model got which thickness :/

Cheers guys, hey chino I was having a quick look through your readers ride thread, have you got those HEL brake lines fitted yet? I was thinking of getting a set (where did you get yours?) and get some better discs and brake pads, that's what you've done isn't it? Still on 288mm discs?

Not got them on yet, might be a little while, was going to leave it til I change the brake fluid next (stil got some motul dot5.1 from february in there), but apparently they make a really nice difference a friend of mine with a tuned up octavia VRS tells me. 288mm with decent pads, discs and fluid cope fine with stage 2 power imo, they proper clamp on.
