Hi guys! I really need some help if you can!
My Ibiza Fr has a very strage behavior at idle, when started from cold all good, no smoke, no strage sounds nothing, letting her idle for 2 to 5 min and thing go out of hand. No errors related to engine malfunctions or so.

1. Idle consuption go far down to 0.3l/h(somethimes 0.2) and 2.2, 2.8mg str(somethimes under 2mg str) injected at idle(too low)

2. Injector 4 correction incresed as engine get warmer, i've seen even 2.02 corection on injector 4 (changed yesterday with a good know injector same code BA, no difference)

3. timing belt was done 3 days ago with blocking tools, all good torsion value after tb change -0.6 0 +0.6 depends on engine temp(i've tried to play with torsion values but there was very little to non in injection department)

4. camshaft and lifters are in very good shape.

5. Temperature sensors are good I think.

first image is with a new timing belt, others image is with the old one with changed torsion values.
As you can see when cold injectors got good values.

if you have more question I'm here.
Thanks and have a nice day!!!

Hi man, wow thats bad man, mine starts absolutly perfect cold/warm.
If you don't have any errors, search for cranks in fuel lines, your car doesn't have fuel for the first 2 4 seconds, so somewhere air got to your fuel system. Change all fuel lines, is cheap.
What ecu modification do you did for instant consuption? Injection duration from ASZ or AVF? Thanks! Keep in touch!

Uptade for thread, my egr MIL happend yesterday after 10km trip, waaay to late.

But did you have symptoms like me before stage 1? 0.3 l/h and bad injector 4 readings?

And let me know if you resolve you're starting problems! Cheers!

Did you change all fuel lines? I still think that fuel lines are cracked, or you can change T piece oi fuel filter with those 2 orings. Something it's wrong with fueling on your car. Try those things.

All fuel lines on engine bay, yeah they could be dry, but maybe they only catch air not leak any fuel. You could verify the lines from tank to the engine bay too, maybe they got cracked.
Anyways somewhere air got in the fuel lines thats my opinion about your problem.

You could put a see thru(transparent) hose into inlet fuel hose where the fuel goes to the engine, so you can be sure that engine is starving from fuel.

What about tandem pump? If I remember corectly you've change it no?

It's ok, you need to try to put transparent hose as feedline to see how much fuel you lose.

if you see air bubbles, thats the problem, you need to find where air get in the fuel system. or put a unisens valve on the feed hose and see what happens.

Thats very strange, if you put contact 3 4 5 times before starting the engine? Is not starting faster?
