yes we have this engine in the mk4 in the UK, it is not the most popular due to the MPG and 115hp from a 2.0l is not the best in it's class

the weather is cold this time of year for us about 20.C in the day and about 10.C at night but yester day it was 25.c .So what easy mods do you suggest i do that would suit this moto

Modding for power isnt easy with normally aspirated (non turbo) cars.
Induction and exhaust are a good place to start, smoothes up the rev range and can give you as much (or as little) noise as you like.
Remap is another option, not best bang per buck but again, makes it a nicer ride.
Handling is another option for you, unless SA is like America, you will have corners in your roads, which means that wider wheels, lowered suspension a strut brace and better brakes may make you faster than any engine mods you can do for the same money.

I have same model car as you and if I am totally honest it isn't very tuneable engine wise. Re-map is an option which I have explored and tbh was a waste of 300 quid. Exhaust and filter also but again hardly any bhp improvement. I have decided to save my money and trade mine in for a diesel!

hi there i was thinking about putting a zorst on to what size did you put and did you cut the CAT out .Did you spray your intake silver or does your car come like that ?
