Ibiza Mk4 Interior Light

Can anyone tell me what the interior light bulb size is. Mine recently went out and i think its caused an error, showing up with the engine management light. Should this happen? Im looking at changing the bulb to an LED one any recommendations? Thanks

42mm Festoon bulb. And Ive never heard of the interior light causing engine management problems, but I suppose anythings possible on these cars!

I changed mine no problems at all

I did have a search but couldn't find anything on the engine management issue... thanks for the bulb size will be getting one in soon... hopefully that will solve my problem.

changed the bulb this morning.... and the engine management light dissapeared! turns out that was the problem! thanks for the help.
