Hi All,

I bought a FR TDi 170 2 years ago, and so far its been a great car, BUT I am now bored but dont have enough money to go out and buy a new motor.
I have not been on the forum for a while, I was hoping people could suggest some cost effective and most importantly fun upgrades.
First on my shopping list would be be more power, and better stopping power.
I have just looked on Revo's site and they quote £399 for an upgrade to 214 BHP, any body done this, andbody any comments.

Bring on your suggestions!

Cheers!

99% of people will say do a remap which is something you are already looking at. - it will make a significant difference.

Revo are good, but there are many other companies that provide remaps too, so take some time and do a search onhere to find out other options.

DPF by pass courtesy of a Milltek turbo back system then a remap.

Thanks guys,

much appreciated. Any suggestions for brake upgrades, have used Green Stuff pads before in other cars and they were not bad.

Now and again you see R32/Cupra TFSi brakes on ebay. These are the ones I would favour.
