a few know about my spilit intercooler pipe and my bodged repair ;) well i brought a new silicone 45 degree bend and fitted last night using high tesion murray clips as the standard and jubilee's are not up to job!!
well what a difference!! but could still feel i was losing a bit of boost so i notice the intercooler on the lower connecton was oily spray, took off front bumper looked and hose was not connected properly so fitted i new high tension clip in place of standard, and clean intercooler while i was at it :) :) :) :) :)

it feels like it's had a power boost! hardly any black smoke, soo powerful losing no boost. i think tomorrow i'm changing all standard clips with the murry ones as they are clearly a million times better. and will eventually get full silicone system.

i got a bit pissed off a while back with car, when turbo went and hoses spilit but now i'm soo glad i got it! puts a smile on my face every time!

p.s got clips heres the link:

Look like good clips. I took no chances and used marine grade clips on all my pipework. Big muthas they are too. :D (bottom one - I need to really replace the last clip a.s.a.p, although its not popped yet)

I'll be taking my bumper off this weekend after speaking to you at Santa pod. See what my clips are like, and give the FMIC as bit of a clean.

Let me know how you get on with your widder bore tubing too ;)

You going to be changing this one too?

Not what the change in diameter is, seems like a bit of a crap design though.

Looks a beast with the bumper off, reckon it would be any benefit running bumperless down the quarter mile? ;)

yep that to allow the bumper to clip in place i had to cut it off with the forge kit but they are 50mm hoses with no bends! and that is your return hose so it restrictive at the wrong end for me!
