Over the last few days I habe noticed my steering wheel wobble at about 75mph. It stops if you go approx 80mph.sometimes if the car is perfectly straight at these speeds there is no vibration but if I slightly turn into a bend it starts again I have had the wheels balanced via a hunter balancing machine and so the wheels are balanced. The wheels are straight and are not buckled. I am using a hub centric 5mm spacer but never had an issue before. Anyone know what else it could be ? I know my bushes are worn would this affect it like this ? Thanks stu

I have been told that the whole arms need to be replaced rather than just the bushes as the bushes themselves are hard to replace. Its about £300-400 for new arms . Im skint so im going to have to put up with it I guess untill I can replace them

I don't know why people say replacing the bushes are hard. I replaced my bottom arm bushes with powerflex poly bushes and it taken about 2.5hrs and that was taking my time. (But I am a mechanic but know plenty other people not in the trade that have polybushed there cars)

Also those delphi arms on the eBay link are incorrect for the LCR, they should be cast arms rather than pressed steel.

Mines was having that problem last week and my track-rod end was about to fall to pieces, could be the same problem. If you jack your car up and if theres a lot of movement on ur wheel it could be that, it cost me about £20 for a new one for my Leon Cupra R

I also had play in my n/s tie rod but didn't get any vibration or wobbles whilst these was worn to be honest
