Fitted some aftermarket smoked side repeaters to my Leon a couple of months back.

However one has now had condensation in for the last couple of days, and hasn't dried up as I hoped it might.

Any tips for how to get rid of it? And then stop it coming back?

either the lamp is not sealing proplerly or the bulb holder seal is not sealing

I will pop it off, dry it out, reconnect it and see if that works then!

Fingers crossed.

or try some silicone sealent a ver thin smear around the joins and some grease
where the bulb goes in or vaseline

My standard ones do this a bit. So long as it's not causing the bulbs to blow or anything, and so long as it's not tooooo bad to look at, it's not a big problem to worry about.

If you're worried though... a blast of a hair dryer followed by an overnight stay in an airing cupboard will dry them out. Then seal them well with some silicone, as goble says above.

Sadly I'm a tart.......doubt anyone else has noticed. But I know and it is fairly bad so looks shi+e!

It's one of those things that once you notice, it stands out like nothing else! Luckily mine isn't tooo bad and it's on silver / clear indicators so it's not obvious at all.
