Indicators not flashing on lock

Hi all,

My indicators don't seem to flash when I lock the car, however they flash on unlock. All doors lock and the interior lights come on when each door and the tailgate are opened (which rules out the door switches?) . I've tried slamming all the doors etc but can't seem to fix it.

Does this sound like anything anyone has come across before?

Speaking from experience this is usually a sign of a faulty door locking module, more than likely the drivers door.
If you're certain it's not these if these been replaced already then I be looking at the CCM.

If you scan it with VCDS then it should show a fault code. As above, most likely one of the door modules.

I checked it with VCDS a while ago to see if the 'flash on lock' had been disabled, though I don't think I scanned for codes.

Speaking of the driver's door, there have been a few occasions that I've parked, taken the key out and the driver's door won't unlock which has had me climbing across the seat to get out!

Thanks all for your help!

Is this something I could get from the stealers?

I'll go out to the car and do a scan at some point. Even if there isn't a fault I think I'll replace the module as I'm fed up with looking like an idiot climbing into my car

Thanks for your help!
