yes you'll need a new upper grill (all of them between the headlights, including the badge). also you'll need new mounting brackets and possibly wheel arch extensions.

plus i don't think you exhaust will fit the rear bumper, the cutout on the LCR is in a slightly differant place.

where did you get the bumpers from? all these parts are availabe from SEAT.

(all the above is assuming that the Isreal Topsport is the same spec as the UK FR)

Are you certain that the grills next to the headlights on a 2001 cupra wont fit an LCR bumper? ive had a close look and they look the same?
I know the middle grill is different (the s badged one)

100% positive.

as you've noticed, the badge grill is smaller, therefore the grills either side must be bigger to fill the gap! plus i'm pretty sure they are not as deep as the LCR bumper has the extra vent below the badge grill.

I had all these parts fitted to my Cupra, so i speak from experience.

Ok, ill look into it a bit further.

I'm not discounting what your saying, i appreciate your input, its just if you look, the grills meet with the profile of the centre of the bonnet, that distance between the headlights and the bonnet bit doesnt change, so i guess it must be the fact that they are not as deep. Thanks for the input.

What did you do about the exhaust as the cut out is in a different place?

thanks

having just had a coffee i've remembered the actual reason the grills are differant!

On the pre-facelift LC (ie 2001) the grills between the headlights are all one piece of plastic, whereas on the LCR the grills next to the headlight are one piece and the badge grill slots in between.

To solve the problem of the exhaust, i didn't fit the LCR rear bumper - i fitted the facelift LC/FR bumper. It looks better anyway as it doesn't have the black plastic section at the bottom and makes the back look smoother.
