Infotainment system stuck on start up

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered before, I've read a few threads now but haven't seen anyone with this issue. I've just bought a used seat leon fr 2.0 2015. The infotainment screen is frozen on the startup screen. The problem persists even after holding the power button to reset it. It seems like It might need new firmware or something. I can't use radio or anything as the system never really starts up.

Any help is appreciated

Not sure if the firmware can even be updated if it doesn't boot. Not sure if disconnecting the unit in the glovebox and reconnecting would help, but maybe an easier option than disconnecting the battery, Then again if its getting stuck in the boot up stage, I suspect the unit is duff.

I'm wondering if someone has tried to change some coding on the unit, I had a similar problem on my car when I tried to put 'Carbon' background on the screen, I made a slight mistake, changed it all back and was fine after.

Hey guys, thanks so much for the replies... I really wish I seen these when dealing with the problem but I'm new to these forums and the likes. It couldn't be flashed, I had to get a new one. Got one in a breaker and got it coded in by a mechanic. Only cost me 250€ compared to the 1000+ seat would charge. Not sure if any coding was done, I bought the car with the unit already busted. Thanks again
