Infotainment with bluetooth audio / Spotify etc

Okay so i've my brand new 280 hooked up to my Iphone 5 (IOS 7) via bluetooth with AD2P turned on.

Should i expect absolutely no control over what album/song/playlist that plays (albeit ive no playlists!) and only get to play a every tune on thing randomly?

Also those who have got Spotify working, how on earth do you get the bluetooth to use it and not your itunes library?

OFC when plugged in i can select down to the album/artist/song level, but see nothing of the sort over AD2P.

As far as I know you lose that ability over Bluetooth.

The default behaviour of the iPhone is to start on Music so you have to manually open Spotify (or have spotify playing before you connect the phone to the car).

I figured it out. If you have Spotify actively open on the phone then it controls that instead of the Itunes music on the phone, however as mentioned inability to select playlists when using bluetooth.

I havent yet checked what its like when plugged in and spotify open to see if can see the playlists..
