i sound an electronic boost controller i want but not sure on wiring it in.... my mate said i have to remove the n75 valve? but as soon as i unplug that its gonna chuck a eml on...???
any ideas on how to install one?
cheers will

Leave the n75 eletrically plugged in but not piped in.. I run a Manual boost controller and get no lights

Just run a boost line to the in port of the solenoid.. run the out to your actuator and if it doesnt have a port to atmosphere block off the hole in your TIP that the N75 used to fit in.

No worries.. Just make sure you dont run much more boost that the ecu asks for or you will get an N75/MAP sensor deviation code.

Best way is set it up using vag-com logs

Tbh mate you will get no better fuel economy driving carefully on the Low setting over driving carefully on the high setting..

my ecu is mapped for 1.6bar but it drops right off to 1.1 bar but this boost controller should hold the boost and means i can run low and high boost

you think?

any consideration into the turbo being flat out hence not holding boost when its out of compressor flow?

logged 115 &118 lately to see what the duty cycle is doing vs requested boost?

hmm i thought the same but it used to hold the boost until i changed the gearbox.....
ill give you a call in a bit mate was a couple of things i wanted to talk about :D

gbox vs boost change/loss

the clues there fella

an EBC is not the obvious fix
might as well fit some 6x9 rear shelf speakers too whilst at it..

i am well aware of the clues mate i have checked all the pipes theres no boost leaks..... turbo isnt maxed out....
next on my list was to get a BC anyway so its worth a shot
i had a mk4 cupra box on there where ive been told the ratio's are shorted and now i put a mk3 cupra on which are longer.... thats what i think
and na already got some 6x9 :p

and yet you have mentioned NOTHING about seeing what duty cycle its trying to achieve now from its existing request...

good luck

you are going to need it with this approach
