Installing boost gauge.

Right doing this tomorrow, But just a little question.

What happens when i want to go back to standard but theres a bloomin great hole in my pipe?


Tape it over?

Fill it up?

How much is a new pipe?

I have a 110TDI any chance of anywhere selling a prettier pipe for it?

If it is a 'standard' hole size, you can usually buy a small plug that will plug the hole perfectly, and they are pretty cheap

small bolt with the same bore as the boost tap will be the surefire way of doing it. Just in case it's a bit thin, some threadlock gunk (name escapes me right now) would ensure a good seal. With the 110 turbos pushing almost 1.5 bar when mapped, that would be enough to pop any attempt at taping it.

im getting an egr race pipe with a boost connector built in if that helps , look at jabbasports section , not sure if they can accomadate the 110 as mines the pd150

Mine after remap boosts at 1.7 bar, not sure what that is in psi?
