Done and search and can't find any info, but can you install cruise control on a non cruise model?
I've seen a company online selling the stalk with cruise on and also a "map/code" to go with it to activate? I'm guessing all wiring etc must be there already and just needs hooked up so to speak?
If that is the case, anyone done this and what were the results like?

Cheers.

You will need knowledge of wiring becouse there are no ready connectors but you need to connect wires to their pins on ecu connector

If the car is 2004 or later if i'm not mistaken you dont have to pass any cable to the ECU , if it is you will have to! ( I had both car , and the first was a audi a3 8P from 2003 and I had to, after 2004/2005 you dont.

Other then that is as simple as taking the steering wheel off, taking the stalk, replacing it with the new one and Programing the new stalk with the VAG-COM

In my Golf Plus 2007 model, all I had to do was take of steering wheel, replace the stalk and then program with VAG-COM and all worked fine.
