Car went in for a service today, service team said SEAT have released an update for the instrument cluster but they said they haven’t yet received information regarding the update or received the software update yet, probably to sort some teething issues... just letting those with MK6 Ibiza’s know so they can call their local SEAT and book.

Probably a service action rather than a recall.

If it is a service action, then the software update should automatically be applied by the dealer the first time the car’s in for servicing or other work after Seat have released the update.

The lady said recall I’m all new to it as this is my first new car. But thanks for clarifying.

I have the digital one.
I’m booked in for Friday was told is to reprogram it. It’s going to take a couple of hours they say.

Just booked mine in for this - is there any major change? I’d love for it to be updated to the new Leon style cluster (and I’d love for the infotainment system to be updated to the new Leon system) but I doubt either will happen!
