Interesting headlight mods!

Looking to add a little something different to the front end of my car - Id like DRLs but unsure what to do...

I quite like the idea of angel eyes, but there appears to be nothing for the Mk4...

I have seen on ebay some R8 (?) style headlights - anyone done this and got photos?

What other mods have you done? Im looking ideally to avoid having to physically remove the headlight cover, a whole unit swap would be better...I am running HIDs too so something HID friendly would be better.

Or maybe someone can recommend DRLs for the fog light area?

Any advice and photos welcomed as Im up for all sorts of ideas

I know a member put angel eye style LEDs in his fog lights, look pretty good!

Haha I'm with IBIZA WILL on this just been and found some eyes but means taking headlights apart and fog lights but now I no it's possible it's defo gonna be done!!

I have some plans for drls in my fog lights but won't be till spring time when I do it but if ur planning anything in the head lights I'll be intreasted also

I think so...fogs are 100% sure I'm doing them! those photos u showed are mint. As for headlights I'm gonna do some more research, I don't really wanna be prising open the cases so some research first but tbh I'm probably gonna go down that route! I've found a whole two photos on google whilst looking quickly of mk4s with halos and I'm now deciding whether to go for all 4 lights or just pick the headlights (which I use constantly anyway)

Ill prob be doing this spring time too so I have time to do it properly and not be panicking about getting the car back together to drive to work lol!

Where are you based mate? There is a good place in Renfrew just outside Glasgow and they can change your standard halogen headlight into a fully functional HID projector headlight with drl's or Angel eyes or whatever you want. They can also paint them aswell.

I'm in the midlands dammit I've got HID's already as the standard bulbs were both blowing every single month, plus they're a waste of space in the dark lol! Be nice to find a company who could add the angel eyes of LEDs and are accustomed to stripping headlights - perhaps I could send them off to them?
