Hey, anyone knows how much voltage the interior lights should get? I've tested with multimeter and it showed only 3 volts, think its too low...
The lights are dim aswell

I'd have voted 12... can you check on the bulb? Not sure about the interior, but the exterior usually have the voltage printed on them.

Checked on the bulb aswell, 3V
I even checked on the connector itself and it showed 3V, I believe it's wayyy too low

From what I can see, it should be 12v. Something else must be taking the power.

It can depend on where you take the reading from and also what setting have you got on the DMM

Sorry but what's DMM?
And I took the reading staright from the electric connector that feeds the whole bulbs unit (only 1 connector for the complete unit)

DMM Digital Multimeter, and what setting did you have on ?
Oh OK
What do you mean by setting?
Just put the dial on DC Voltage and tested
My DMM is a cheap Ebay one, doesn't have volts range (20v/200v etc) just DC/AC options

Thats ok, some people might use the AC setting and just wanted to check. but another test, take the bulb out and
the put the leads across the bulb connections, and see what the voltage is then
Shows 2.7V
Too low I think

I also think that is too low but have you checked any other interior lights, and the boot light are they all the same?

what you need to do is locate the fuse and check the output of that, then find the switch and check that out
Forgot about the boot light, will check it
