intermitant misfire

when my 150hp v5 is cold it sometimes misfires under load ie 10mph in second and accelerate. its like this for say 5 to 10 minutes then its ok. its had new plugs and leads about 2 months ago and this faults only occured in the last week.

After quality plugs and leads the usual suspects are coil pack (cracks on the back) ignition amp and (wild card) crank sensor

You could refit the original leads to check the new leads are OK?

Don't pull on the wires themselves, this breaks them internally leading to misfire

okey thanks. someone else suggested a maf sensor. so will try all of those thanks

Have you tried resetting the ecu since the new plugs / leads etc.? Mine was a tad lumpy from cold after a service in the summer, reset the ecu and all sorted itself after that.. Cheap easy fix, if it is that..
