Intermittant Crunching In2 1st Gear ?

Now and again from a long peroid of driving it feels like my car is crunching or is having difficulty going in2 1st gear ?

any1 else have or had this problem ??

I get it in to 2nd gear, just a bit of a crunch now and then? been like it for about a year but never got any worse?

I dont think there is a severe problem, just now and again dont know if its the linkage knocking or its struggling 2 get in2 gear

its going back 2 my local dealer for some other stuff
i'll ask them if they have had any others back with that problem

mine has been gone for about 2 months

I'm affraid its a new gearbox.. just take it easy when you change gear (just don't change so fast)

i work for ford & mazda and stuff like tht is for them so suppose it will be for seats !

usually the way, just tell them what you know though..

I had a problem with me clio 182 doggy steering rack and the dealer kept telling me it was fine untill i kicked up a fuss..

i had mine looked at when i had a service and was told it was ok. That was from a different garage that told me it could be syncro tho

I had this problem with my LC, particularly on cold mornings when driving round a corner and moving down to second or even changing up to 2nd from 1st I would get a crunch. I kicked up a stink with SEAT and they kindly changed it under warranty.

Might be worth trying fully synthetic gearbox oil, http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=130585, although if you're still in warranty you should probably try your luck there first.
