guys, noticed recnetly in low gear the dv dumps normally with the normal whoosh sound, in higher gear i.e 4th or 5th then it occasionally chatters, like the turbo stall sound....

anyone else get this, ive got forge 006 reversed at the minute but it did it the other way round aswell.

i do have loud whooshing noises on part throttle also, kind of like a sucking noise and if i hold the revs then it constantly sucks then dumps and occasionally chatters?

now when i bypassed n249 i binned the oe pipework, so at the minute i have larger diameter vac pipe from the metal vac source then a smaller vac pipe inside the larger one from the dv top to the vac source if you understand me?? wondering if this could cause the siisue at all? or any other issue it could cause....

induction sounds very whooshy to me. also worth noting i have lean running values aswell.

hmmh, stumped tbh.

My 007p occasionally chatters, only chatters when i am in 1st/2nd moving very slowly then when i build up RPM, like i am going up a small ascent and then dip the clutch, its like there is not enough boost to open the DV for it to dump, as i have the N249 bypass and the a yellow spring, i am thinking this is why it is happening.I am not worried about it as its only a minimum amount off boost going back over the turbo.

have you done any logs james to see if you got a boost leak? since ive put the stand air box back on and now running the dv in reverse my dv only gives a little dump now.and its a brand new 007.

is it possible for a forge one to be broken... or is it likely the o rings go...

seems to have deteriorated over 2 days, wondering if the dv has shat itself?

006 is a piston type still isnt it, i had issues where the piston can stick shut so the vac isnt enough to dump everytime,

give it a strip down, not got any vac leaks on the vac side of the dV have you?

regrease the o-rings, I work with compressed air systems as a job so managed to get hold of a silicone based o-ring grease ( used on systems in excess of 150 psi pressure, ), its superior to Forge's supplied grease TBH, its temp threshold is fantastic, ,

pm an adress and i can send some out if you want might cure it,
