Intermittent rear door problem

You know if the car is locked when driving, and you have to pull the interior handle twice to get out, I'm having the same problem but on the outside of the rear door.

It's not all the time, actually might just be after the car as been driven (anti hijack is enabled)

Copious amounts of WD-40 to start with

I have a similar problem with my door and had the exact same problem with my Mk4 Golf. See the star bolts on the edge of the door on the same level as the outer handle?

You can loosen these on position the handle. It may only be a mm out or so but does make a difference. Try that but don't loosen the handle all the way. Other than that i'm not sure
