They're not identical but I think they share more than a passing similarity.

All the pacific rim manufacturers have done this for years, take a look at any Kia, Hyundai, etc and they will have design infuences from the current crean of the crop design wise.

That 7 year warranty isnt really 7 years - its just that long on the engine and gearbox. The rest is 5 years - which is still pretty good compared with everyone elses warranties apart from Hyundai

We have 2 Cee'd's at work, and I think they look more like the outgoing Toyota Corolla.

The Kia cee'd looks nothing like the Leon! It does however have the same front as the last Corolla and the same side profile as the Mazda 3.
