It Time For Tyres

Hi Peeps

I'm looking for advice on some new tyres for the front of my FR having done 27,000 mile on the factory fit Michelin 225 40 18.

I see a lot of people recommend the Goodyear Asymmetric though im concerned on the wear rate.

I cover around 20,000 miles a year and would like the fronts to last that while being hopefully quieter. Any advice?

I did similar on my Michelins. Think I'll have them again purely for the wear rate.

Recently put a pair of Vredestein Ultrac's on the front.
It's early days yet, but first impressions are good.

I'd definately recommend Avon Zv5's.. cost me £90 and best tyres I've had. (been thru a far few in the last year cos of punctures!)

can any one suggest an average mileage at all on these tryes

i put some Goodyar gsd3 on mine at the start of the year and aprox 20k in they are going stong and decent amount of tread left.
not sure if they are availible now though.

..And the tread pattern is like no other and looks nice.
