I find I use mine quite often when the roads are wet, spray collects over the rear window. I would probably go for the polo one, if I had the choice.

I'll be going for the polo wiper soon. Got the facelift 1 at the mo, too much plastic IMO

I usually use the wiper before reverse parking or on the motorway before changing lanes I think the wing mirrors are the wrong shape

Nope. Take the boot liner off, and rip it all out, seal up the washer pipe and stick a 20/25mm grommet in the hole. 30 mins work for awesome results

You're welcome The wiper arm needs a 13mm socket to get it off, and can be a PITA if its original, but its not the hardest thing in the world. Shame I'm going to Plymouth with family this weekend, if I was driving myself, I'd be able to help

If my car did not have a rear wiper i would keep it under a nice cover, then polish it up and take pics of it on my drive to post up in my readers ride. Certainly not a drivers car

In a drivers car, why would you be looking out the rear window? Remove the wiper, since none of them actually clear the screen. They all just drag dirt about it. And your rear washer will spend most of it's time out of action too.

I couldn't tell you how long since I had a rear wiper, but even doing 1000 miles a week during winter it hasn't been a problem. Wax the window, and wash your car regularly
