how about this then pete...me and alex are gonna try to fit the thick core to his car and he has A/C :s lol

you can make anything fit with a grinder mate!

Won't happen with ease, I had pro-alloy make me a cooler with mounts in different places and it still didn't leave enough room for the aircon radiator. However when I can be arsed I'll have another go, just too busy driving the car for once.

Ohh and you need to remove the cross bars, and also remove the towing eye and cut off the bottom bits on the slam panel where the piping will foul... its a fook on of a job but worth it.

ahh minor details olly!! i havent had my towing eye in once yet everytime i been on the track!!! but wel have a go at it one night this week see if we can get it fitted! and try and keep the towing eye just to be save!

Olly, you don't loose it as such, you loose the bracket for the Cupra bumper, should you need to be towed from now on you need to remove the bumper.

Pete, click the 'I've done some stuff...' link in my sig and find the pics of the FMIC and you'll see where I've cut, if need be I'll highlight it for you.

Looking at the pics it looks like the towing eye would fit and work as normal, I'm sure you know better tham me as I've never fitted one. I think I'll have a go at a making my own kit bit like craig, maybe buy just the jabba pipe work.

my FMIc is large and I still retain towing eye on front.

Pete, look at there the FMIC bolts to the slam panel, you can see where I've cut off anything that hangs below that line.

Olly, I never really tried to fit it back on but the pipe work sticks out a little due to having the mounts made 10mm further to try and retain AC. When I get bored of driving it and start working on it the plans are to re-fit AC, see if the towing eye can be spaced out a little bit and made to fit... along with a few other things. I have retained my foglights though!

Pete you've just got the standard Jabba cooler so you'll be able to keep the crash bar.

I have two crash bars a good one, and one of a friends that was slight bent, I un-bolted my old on and kept it aside for modifying (cutting and plating like the Forge one due to having my cooler mounted 10mm further out) however I still wanted to bolt my bumper to the crash bar due to loosing the lower mounts so just quickly hacked the old damage one up as a quick fix.

So it's only there as a bumper mount and thats it.

If you're free give me a ring on 07737384557 and I'll run through the enging bed bushes.
