ive done a few mods on the cupra and i thought its about time for a custom remap what does every one think it will make on the rolling road monday its having a custom live map 250 bhp maybe

What did it make and how much did it cost you? What did you think to jabba?

i'm hitting 20psi on k03s too..15psi at high revs

I personally think k03s is only worthwhile if its not going to cost much for everything...it only cost me about £300 inc remap and I think that is a bargain for an extra possible 30 bhp if you've already got the mods to suit. But if the costs were more..say £700+ i don't think I'd bother

mine seems to peek at 23-24 and then drop and hold at 20.

you got it back from jabba yet???

they are exteremly good figures and i would be very pleased with how much boost it's holding! If i was guaranteed to be holding 20psi i'd consider a ko3s.

yeah but i'd bet it isnt holding 20 for very long at all really,

k03s will only hold about 14/15 at 6k and by redline it'll be less still, any more and its probably getting raped and wont last long, just like that nick found out

lol, the k03s i got has some bits uprated, was sent to aet to have some work done on it, not sure what exactly though!

Cheeky bast**ds, should be a fixed price. How can you give someone an open cheque book. I wish i could work on a if it takes longer basis. Remind me how long they have been mapping 1.8T engines for.

mate, go for a generic map and stop your shitting on the companies youve never dealt with.

If its taking a long time, its beucase they are trying their hardest. mine took 7 hours and as they book 2 in a day, they had to cancel the afternoon session. Thats why the charges are there.

You should be on the 230-245bhp region.

Roly's car is fast, never mind the 227 against other peoples 230-250, on track it was amazingly fast. holds the torque all the way to the redline which is where most maps die. i found 18/19psi better than 21/22psi, less is more, concentrate more on the graph and timing.

.

Not shitting on them, i rate them highly. When my mate had his golf done there it took two hours. A great job and no mention of if it exceeds 4 hrs talk. But if you think its a fair way to run a business great, many wouldn't including me. :)
Happy to see this remap was within budget. Looking forward to seeing the results.

it was dynostar i think the 2 wheel drive one im well happy with the work they did i had 4 bar reg fitted it was 4 hours mapping all in total the car goes so much better the way the boost comes in and not droping off so much near the top end they really know there stuff it was 230 bhp when it went in and 252 when it out such a nice map no limp mode on half throttle like before the total cost was £540 I LOVE ITTTTTTT

the one on the left is the old one. worn out.
same kinda readings as stealths

:)

sounds like its running well now.

it was bill figures are nice but on the whole if id come away with 230 bhp i dont care my car is so nice to drive WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENCE i will come round and you can see how it goes its like a diffrent car and it dont half shift i will get you to log it and see what you think if thats ok
