Right, I'm guessing that these are resistors to adjust the boost so that the ecu reads ok.
Now these resistors got burnt (this picture was before).
I have taken these out, and as soon as i get to about 3,500 revs, the car goes into limp mode.
What resistors do I need? Can I get a variable resistor in here to adjust or what?
Any help on this will be much appreciated as its really annoying!!!

the resistors ive used and other members use are 330R 10 I THINK ILL DOUBLE CHECK BUD

thanks for the quick reply, why are there two tho?! I really dont understand?!?!?!

Are you sure you've resistor'd your MAP sensor....

Just speak to Jabba. Just looks like someone has "clamped" your map, so it doesnt read properly so you can run a boost controller.

confused.
1st picture shows the air temp sensor which is a thermocouple not a fixed resistor
the 2nd picture is near the charge cooler to its map sensor wiring..

ibizacupra ur completely right!!! that sensor picture I orignally had posted has nothing to do with this. Sorry.
Right well the sensor I am on about is on the CC down where that blue/white pipe is going into the CC.

map sensor then.. got diodes on it? zener 4.7v clamp zener.. fools ecu into thinking its not overboosted.

hmmm, they are definately resistors and not diodes. The green wire seems to go straight thru to the connector, the other two have got resistors on, one seems to be a 2watt resistor and a tiny one. The smaller is a 6 colour resistor and the other is a 4-5 colour band.

Could I just fit a diode and be done with it? If so which wires do I need to connect/join the diode to???? I do have supposedly adjustable boost in the car, however it only ever seemed to be on and off...
If I clamp it, is there a chance I could pop the engine or something???

hmmm.... this diode mode seems a bit dodge to me... does the resistor thing look right or shall i just remove it?
