Cheers mate there will be plenty more to come.
Got rokkor coilovers off ebay. Was going to get some aps but seemed rude not to try these ones out for the price and so far they have been absolutely fine.

hi mate, ya car looks the part mate :)
i've recently got a pd 130 tdi sport too and i plan to do some mods too although i find it hard to find parts for them, where did you go for your parts? mainly on here?

how much were the coilies mate? and what's the ride like now do you feel every single bump? i'm wondering weather to only change the springs, what ya think?

i see you fitted the fr honeycomb grills too, i changed mine too but didn't do the bottom one only the top two little ones did it just fit easy to standard bumper?

cheers
soz about all the questions mate :)

Fitted them all to mine too, the bottom fog grilles come out dead easy, but the middle one is more difficult and you should take the front bumper off to unclip it, you can't access the clips from the front.

I couldn't be bothered taking the bumper off just yet, so I just snapped the middle lower grille into a few pieces and it just pulled out. You can re-fit them from the front, just can't take them out without removing the bumper or breaking it.

Hi cheers mate,
Fitted them all to mine the fog covers are easy the bottom centre grill is a bit tricky but can be done i agree with blanco your supposed to take the bumper off but you can do it carefully with a small screwdriver(takes a while and some paintence) or break the standard grill to get it out then just clip the new one in.
I think i payed about 170 for the coilies and i think they have been great value so far. Car is harder but the handling is transformed, turns in better, better under hard brakeing. I did fit just springs to mine but made it much harder and bouncy would recommend going straight to coilies as they are one of the best mods ive done.
Not sure what you mean about parts hard to find for them what parts was it you were looking for?

I don't think the lower grilles are much money anyway ive got the part no.s if you want them. I do have the lowering springs somewhere could dig them out. Whenever ive wanted some parts i have never struggled to find them so far depends what you are after really.

Update

Finally remembered to take a picture of my HID's
IMG_0098.jpg

Also fitted my exhaust last wednesday havent got any pictures yet but has made a noticeable difference to the performance i think, seems to pick up quicker and boost a bit earlier :D

ah i got the aprt no,s cheers mate :) well i think i might try some springs first but i suppose they'l be quite expensive to send though, ah ok maybe it's just me as i'm new to this forum,

HIDS look good they were the first thing i did as i still had em from my old car, i was supprised how easy they were to fit, 10 min job max.

how much was ya exhaust mate? is it straight through from cat? and does it sound nice? i just want that nice whistle sound :p

cheers matey :coolthumb

Ye hids are defo an easy mod although i put my ballasts out of sight behind the bumper so involved taking the bumper off which isnt that difficult really but i have got a ramp at work at my disposal.
Got a miltek non res exhaust only cat back atm because i ran out of money to buy the downpipe as well seeing as i got the system for 320. My cat is cut out and a straight bit of pipe welded in instead anyway. Sounds awesome though definately got the whistle sound.
It says your in kent? Not to far from me really.

me too u have a ramp at work too to use whenever it's quiet, i plan to cut my cat out and weld some pipe there but had a lil look up on the ramp other day and looked tiny bit orkward as theres a hanger in the way so tht would have to be cut out and welded back on and i'd have to cut really close to the cat for enough room to weld?

i deffo wanna get an exhaust just for that wicked whistle sound :) i looked at 'mufflerectomy' but not sure if i like that as i don't really like the idea of not have back box

how much would you want for those springs matey? and how much lower are they? cheers :)

I took the downpipe off to cut the cat out made it much quicker and easier. Im not sure about the mufflerectomy cause we did it in my mates golf and it was proper loud too loud really. You get a bit of a whistle sound when the cats out as wel.
They are 40-45mm lowering springs private message me about them mate probably (£40ish)

ah nice one mate i'll take down pipe off then :) i'll contact you if i want those springs but i'm in 2 minds i might get coilies now lol

exhaust looks good mate, you forgot to blank out ya numberplarte as you nor do on all other pics lol

Cheers mate number plate blanked off now lol! Up to you whether you go springs or coilies i would just wait save up and get some coilies. When you take the downpipe off try to get some wd40 or something on the turbo flange nuts can be real tight on there!

no worries lol you were so despirate to show off ya exhaust you didn't notice lol
yeh i'll do that when i looked at it i cringed cos the looked a bit corroded,
should be ok though i'll keep ya posted :)

and as i wanna do exactly what you've done with yours i'm sure i'll be contacting ya regularly lol
hope ya don't mind matey cheers for help, top man

Photobucket was messing around and i didnt notice in a hurry lol why i did it differently!
Don't mind helping you out mate! Should be more done on mine over time as i am nowhere near done with it lol!
