Jordan, are you wiggling around inside to make the car make that noise?

Mine has done it very occasionally, on standard suspension. It seems loosening the handbrake by a notch (or two if you're on rather level ground) makes it go away.

If the noise isn't because you're sat inside wiggling, have you bounced on each corner of the car to see if it's noisy shocks?

That was me driving down my street I'm not moving in the car at all, I'm braking then rolling then braking making it make the noise. At the end I'm drive down a bump where it goes from bricks to tarmac

Well at best its a top mount which means I'll be changing both the fronts, and at worst it will be new dampers (they may be leaking making that noise)

Here's hoping! Doing my head in now. I can also turn the spring around when it was jacked up last week, is this normal? I didn't try on the quiet side.

Rears done it for a while when I first had then on but doesn't squeak now. The fronts are squeezing proper bad now when it rains. I used to go out and tighten the three bolts that are under bonnet

Mine does this too but only when I accelerate and decelerate in the wet. I thought it was top mounts?

Mine used to do that, it was the wishbone bushes. Replaced with Cupra ones and it was okay (also needed a new ARB and bushes, but you have 06 onwards models which shouldn't have the ARB issue). Have you guys had yours changed yet?

Go out and grab each front wheel and try to rock it (you'll need to get both arms under the arch and use a bit of strength!). If you've a lot of movement within the arch then your bushes are knackered.

Just been out and made myself a bodge winter grille!

Hopefully my car will warm up in less than 4 miles now it has less airflow.

I saw this on at the Yorkshire meet, is it working did not get a chance to ask you.

I travel about 16 miles to work, the petrol Cupra used to heat up in about 4-5 miles and was OK, but the diesel takes longer and is bordering on 10 miles, looking for a similar tweak myself!!

I'll give it a try!

Also just to let you know Jordan that with the passenger seat out it defiantly sounds like a wishbone bush. The noise comes right from where the wish one is.

I'll jack the car up tomorrow and have look! Last time i had a glance it looked ok, i'll have a proper look!
