Urgh that shrink looks like dog shite lol. Black silicon connectors it is then lol

I know i'm really disappointed!

Going to get some of those silicon connectors after Xmas (sod for delivery after 22nd) then i'll get that horrible black stuff off and some decent connectors on.

May go for red, matches strut brace!

Imo, cut it down slightly on the 90* bends so it sits straight down the engine bay instead of on a wonk?

Yeah i did cut them down, but the grinding disc cracked and didnt fancy having the disc breaking and shards flying at me at speed!

So i would have but safety first! Seeing as i had no protective gear at all!

Nah I will have to fabricate 2 brackets because they're narrower than current! Don't know how I'm going to get them in my car tomorrow! The passenger seat may be coming out to get them back!

Mine is more than just seats, ive got the whole lot out! C pillars seatbelts, rear door cars (whatever you call them on a 3dr) no grab handles, was going to take headlining out but i thought i'd best leave it.
I rarely have any passengers so i figured i dont need it haha, saved about 70kg in total!

I've even had the passenger seat out for a bit (they're really heavy!) but that was just too annoying!

You can feel the difference, just pulls harder at 3,5k than before!

Didn't go to pick the seats up today because the place didnt reply to me till 1.45pm and they shut at 2pm :(

So i'll go get them on monday or something!

Good luck with this mate, I thought about TT seats for a while but I do carry passengers often so I need rear seats, and my understanding is TT rears don't fit.

When I collected my interior I went down with only the driver's seat left in! Car was full, I wouldn't have managed it with the passenger seat in. The car did feel so much more responsive on the way down with no interior in it! Was an enjoyable drive down the Welsh country roads :)

Yeah they do them for most cars, just generic seats with different subframes.

I like the style but i wasn't mad on the idea of having plastic seats :(

For that money i'd rather have second hand porsche seats or TT's
